Health Policy and Management - Tenure Track Position - Assistant Professor Level
The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant rank in the Area of Health Policy and Management with a cross-appointment in Operations Research or Information Systems. The appointment will commence July 1, 2016, although an earlier appointment date may be possible.
Candidates will have a PhD in Health Policy and Management, or a related field such as Organizational Behaviour, Information Systems or Operations Management, with demonstrated scholarly and applied interests in data analytics and an ability to teach a broad range of courses from a health care perspective.
The DeGroote School of Business provides a strong, supportive and collegial research culture, building the research capacity of faculty and graduate students. It hosts three research centers and a number of Research Chairs.
DeGroote operates at two campuses, the McMaster University main campus in Hamilton, Ontario and a new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Burlington, Ontario, housing the MBA and executive programs. The successful candidate is expected to be able to service both locations, teaching undergraduate and post-graduate courses as well as teaching in the School’s professionally oriented executive development programs.
